Trip to North Carolina

I can't believe it's been a whole month since I've blogged. Well, this post should make up for it. Me & the boys just returned from a 13 day trip to the East Coast. We went to my parents' home in North Carolina for some wonderful grandson/grandparent bonding time. My sister Rebekah also joined us for a long weekend so Manuel & Joshua reconnected with their Aunt too. I especially enjoyed going to Cane Creek Lake, playing Mexican Train Dominoes & reading "Three Cups of Tea." Mike & I realized it was too long of a time to voluntarily be apart- we missed each other too much- but he welcomed me back with red tulips, baked cookies & steam-cleaned carpets! He worked so hard around the house while we were gone. I'll let the photos tell the rest...
